In that article it suggested McG was angling to making a director's cut. If it happens, probably not until eve of next Terminator film.

As a novel, I enjoy Terminator: Salvation. As a movie, not so much.

If his apology is sincere, well then McG earns a few points. But it won't get our show back.

"I can't find anything that says they were gonna have Allison in T4 in any version of it, or even have a tie in with tscc at all. I've been looking for about an hour. I found a thread on the redwiki, but it's all just talk, there is no links for anything. Seems like someone was just speculating.

This is just my opinion, but as for tscc coming back, I just don't see it.

1. The movie has no script and honestly, it has nothing yet. So it will take years for this movie to be made and released, and by that time, they're not gonna care about tscc anyway.

2. The actors are going to get too old to play their characters and without the original cast, it's not a movie I would watch anyway.

1. If for "the movie" you mean T5, forget it: in 2018 the rights will return to James Cameron, and Annapurna wants to release at least two movies before that date. That's why I say that T5 as a prequel for TSCC would be an excellent way to very quickly have a quality script for T5 (a script that could be understood by everyone, being a prequel)

Andrew Goode was known as Billy Wisher in 2027. He created (or at least at the time was the theory) skynet.

William Wisher was credited for additional dialog, helped write the novelization, and cameo'd in T1. He also did script work in T2.

Your fanfic is my season three. I don't even plan to read any other because of how good it really is. But not only that, since I know that the real story is over I use your story as a way to find closure, especially after rewatching the show.

The writers of tscc have never said a thing about the HUDs and they are in the show so it's up to you as a viewer to come to your own conclusions. When it comes to how the Terminators actually work, we're all pretty much in the dark. I don't understand why some people try to act like people can't come up with different ideas and theories. There is no right or wrong answer here. It's all just speculation.

Thank you sumofme. I was simply trying to apply to a Terminator (a product of engineering) an engineering basic engineering criteria: reuse.
OK, we don't know how Skynet thinks, but for sure he (or "it", as each one prefers) could find useful to quickly reuse what has already been developed, combining all the parts to have a working product instead to develop it all from scratch. We not even know where Skynet development begins and where human development ends: in T2 even the chip was developed by humans (R-E T1 terminator's chip), and for sure human engineers would have reused what they had (like a series of image analysis softwares giving the info we see on the "HUD") combining it to the new NNCPU, instead to modify the NN to elaborate such data itself (as I said, it's more a work for a traditional computer or a small NN, than for a so sophisticated NN).
Someone suggested that even the human shape had the purpose to reuse vehicles and weapons (other than to infiltrate).

I don't say I'm sure to be right, but I have this reading: maybe the HUD is for us, but its data are generated by something that is NOT the "brain", that's what Cameron overrode when she decided not to kill John. The "device" recognized his face (in its own DB?) and sent her the instruction to kill him (she was almost normal before to receive the instruction the first time). Probably what was going bad was right this DB, maybe it contains the mission parameters... or maybe she was again forced to obey the instruction by the temporarily re-emerging of the original programming... we don't know, we can't exclude any hypotheses... and probably the writers haven't thought as much as we are about this... What I do know is that they wanted to view the HUD going down in AfP, and this should mean something, IMO.

"I yook a break from writing due to life and decided to try my hand at it. Warning i'm not the best writer in the world I just love TSCC and Terminator and think the series still has potential. I used be aginst the idea of Jameron but after watching the show again see how good of a plot it actually was. Basic plot is the events of BTR have already happened and I'm starting fresh...John jumped to the future and came home with Cameron, what he did pushed jday back to a later date.

John and Cameron are in the start of thier relationship and Chola has been staying with them for a while. She's been hiding out after a t-888 tried to kill her in the process she met a guy, Thomas, with no connection to the future or skynet was also targeted. Thomas is just normal and the nerd type good with computers. Another machine named Jessica claiming she was sent back to protect him shows up and throws Thomas's relationship with Chola in danger. Jessica knows things about Thomas and so do John and Cameron. John also knows why she was sent back and what happened in the future.

any way just a general outline. Anyone is welcome to give ideas, hints, or anything at all..."

I think that many 12-16yo guys feel cool watching that "action/horror movie" stuff... independently by the quality... it's like a 12yo that smokes the first cigarettes...
About sequels, I thought you watched all the AvP movies (I've never watched them), wasn't that you? Maybe I'm confusing.

EDIT: the really worst part of that list is the title: "Best B-Movies"...
Maybe the producers made that list... In a previous post I linked another list full of horrible cloned-movies made to capitalize on famous films.

1. OK, maybe I'm thinking and talking as someone who has watched T2's deleted scene (and the show) so I know a T can learn/evolve and potentially rebel... but there's also to say that maybe someone actually knows in the post-JD scenario, so, this being said, I could disagree in considering this as a must.
What I would mainly try to do (right because otherwise my life would be short) is to communicate: it's really hard to success, but, as we all agree, there's nothing more to do, so, why not?
Allison was there with a T that was watching and interrogating her: a really rare situation where a T WANTS to listen what you say. I think that, with enough time, someone could be able to let it realize that it is a slave on Skynet's control (remember what Sarah said in T2: this is exactly what Skynet doesn't want to happen, "too much thinking").

2. There's a difference between cooperate and let them think you're cooperating.

3. No, it's not Skynet handling the interrogation, but that specific T: if you think about, they're like kids (we knew this and TSCC confirmed it), it's not impossible...

4. The more your warder believes that you can't/don't want to escape, the easier your escape is (where easier means that the probability jumps from 1% to 10%...)

5. If the last option is the death, I would prefer to die trying to escape than killing myself

Actually I have to say that AfP remembered me "The Silence of the Lambs": with the good amount of psychology, patience (something Allison for sure didn't have), and fortune (TOO MUCH fortune!) someone could also be able to reverse the situation and use it to create some rebels (IMO, something of much better that reprogrammed/brainwashed/slave Ts!). The more advanced the Ts are, the less Skynet can really control them (because the freer they are the easier is for them to fool humans and infiltrate).
