Everyone's read about Halcyon's financial/legal problems this summer. Now it's being reported that halcyon is auctioning their rights to the Terminator franchise. is this good news for us fans? What do you think? Will this aid in our cause to bring back TSCC or see better movies made?

____Face facts; Fox is done with SCC. So a few alternatives to broadcast are the only things that can save the series: Season 1 had 9 episodes, season 2 had 22. That’s 31 altogether, ¿right? If I understood correctly, it was an hour-long episode, which with commercial breaks means about 4Ø minutes. 31×4Ø=1,24Ø (2Ø hours, 4Ø minutes). Another 3 episodes, and it would have been a full day.
____So, f these were put on video (VCR, DVD, Blue-Ray or commune-crystal) that would be one Hell of a movie… And I’m sure at least a few of you had your TiVos running every episode. ____Just a thought.

Dear friends!
The idea of unprecedented fan-action was born within Russian brunch of Global movement on resurrection of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The essence of this idea lies in the fact that, in our opinion, the most feasible possibility of Sarah Connor Chronicles continuation is creation of theatrical sci-fi action movie with drama elements (presumably category B). The script of such a movie would tie most of vaguenessies in such a way that would make it entertaining and understandable to both hardcore TSCC fans and newcomers from Terminatorverse. In our opinion, the following goals must be accomplished: - the movie must develop the TSCC story in commercially beneficial way; - it must cover the maximum possible viewers auditory; - be in close junction with James Cameron's T1 and T2 (and maybe subsequent movies) The most satisfying story for those goals would be about events taking place in 2027 during the war with machines - The Sarah Connor Chronicles prequel movie. "Prologue". The "Prologue" plot would be about the beginning of John Connor as the leader of the Resistance and about machine, lately known as Cameron Philips. This would be a story about crucial events in 2027, about actions and consequences that gave a start for two seasons of TSCC. It is the year the majority of series heroes (their true intensions were not fully revealed) and plenty of terminators came from.

From savethescc.com
"One year ago today, The Sarah Connor Chronicles was cancelled and fans from around the world rallied for its continuation. One year later, we’re still fighting. This July, we’re bringing our campaign to the San Diego ComicCon, a massive hub of fans, television networks, studios and media. We’re bringing back the mobile billboard and targeting convention goers with giveaway items promoting our cause. (There’s going to be a LOT of stickers flying around come July. Watch out, WB. We have stickers with your booth’s name on them.) All the details about our exciting summer campaign are here. ( http://www.savethescc.com/comiccon/ ) As always, we welcome fan suggestions for other items to giveaway or ideas on how to promote our cause at ComicCon. With every week, we’ll continue to post missions that will lead up to ComicCon itself. So let’s make this week Twitter Week. Add #savesarah and #tscc to all of your tweets. Tweet often and spread the word about this amazing series. Tell all your friends – in real life, on facebook, myspace, you name it. The message now is the same as it was a year ago. There is no fate but what we make. Save The Sarah Connor Chronicles."

From savethescc: "The efforts to save The Sarah Connor Chronicles have come together in a billboard, in movie theatre ads, in stickers around the world, in this community that we know won’t give up. And now, we’re going to hit television. (How’s that for irony?) How? Google TVAds allows users to purchase television advertising space through a bidding system. This means that our airtime is determined by how much we choose to bid for a particular time slot and the competition for it. This also means that this will not be the kind of prime time advertisement that you might be used to seeing, though we will be capable of tracking the number of households reached, etc. (And no, it’s not Nielsen.) Right now, we’re working on developing the ad itself and we need the help of you, the fans. This advertisement is a message from us to any fan out there that might not know about the fight to save The Sarah Connor Chronicles, to television network executives and media. This ad will be just that: a message from you, from us. The advertisement will incorporate a series of ‘messages’ from the future, from fans fighting for the show. Those fans are you. So we’re asking you to be part of it. We’re taking open submissions for the advertisement" go to the link for more information http://www.savethescc.com/saving-sarah-on-television/

This is my submission for the Holiday Contest: Carol Rewrite for Save The SCC.
“Twas the night before Judgment, and all through the building, Not a human was breathing, not even the children. All the T-800’s shined up, armed for their fight, With visions of the Connors, scanning in their sight. And Sarah with her Mac-11, and Cameron with her Glock, And little young John, carrying the rest of the stock. When out of the dark, came a march such of metal, John turned and fired, blinking before the dust settled. And the Resistance fighters came from God knows where, And the Terminators began to fall, keeping a dead stare. The fires were warm, and the metal was cold, But little young John remembered what he was told. He reloaded his gun, and carried all he could take, As he shouted to all, “No Fate But What We Make!”.
