Hope - by Veran`

First things first: writer's block is a *****. And with no new TSCC material to inspire me, it's hard to find a moment where I can just sit down and type through an entire chapter of 10,000 words. So that's my excuse for not updating my story as frequently as I would like. But I am determined to see it through, so no worries there. I'm currently writing Chapter 04 and should (hopefully) have it finished by tonight. The story is pretty slow in the first half of the story (20 chapters planned) but things pick up in Chapter 05, which is why I'm so eager (if unmotivated) to get through this one. Yeah, the Connors spend most of their time confined to the house. There's a reason for this as it pertains to the plot, but I'll let them all out for fresh air soon enough. Anyway, I'll stick a preview of Chapter 04 below this post. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

They were barely a few feet apart when the I-950 suddenly spun around, grabbing Jason’s wrist. The gun fired, sending a single bullet awry as the cyborg pulled with all of his might and spun once more, placing himself behind Jason. With a kick that sent tremors up Jason’s spine, the I-950 propelled him off the edge of the catwalk and into the salt bin below. It took him a moment as he lay there atop the salt to realise what had just happened to him. No one, not even an I-950, could get the drop on him like that. Or so he thought…His Glock lay inches away and he watched as it slowly started to sink into the sand. Seconds later he realised that he too was sinking and in a moment of panic, kicked his legs to try and right himself. His abdomen descended without pause, dragging his legs along with it. Jason thrashed about as he tried to reach for the edge of the bin, but it was too late. The sand engulfed the T-999 as he reached out in vain one last time before all that remained was his outstretched hand, then nothing a few seconds after that. The I-950 chuckled at his stalker’s misfortune as he slid the heavy metal lid across the top of the bin, stepping onto it to fasten the latches on the sides. There was no way for Jason to get out now, his weight alone would see to that, and the sheer mass of salt surrounding him would make moving very difficult. Satisfied, he locked the final latch and took a moment to admire his handiwork. “Just as predictable in this world as you were in the other”, he leered. Dropping down to ground level, the I-950 paid one last look at the bin, memorising the details on its side before leaving Jason to his fate. Do you find this valuable? |

"Umm... *thinks* Okay, you're either asking a genuine question after having misread (or not read at all) the chapter, or you're just being you. In either case, the answer is no. @Kaotic: There isn't a chapter that focuses on him per se, since he's a large part of the story anyway. But he does become very VERY important towards the end. In fact, I'll drop a coin here and say that everything depends on him. >:) Do you find this valuable? |

Nice work, Veran!Keep launching! But i really don't know what to say about Jason when he handle that I-950. He acted like a untrained unit. Even to a human trained person a handgun point to them in hands reach is not dangerous like that same gun but pointing at them from out of their hands reach. I would say, not just human do stupid things in your fanfic. lol Nice work on Jam scene. So Sophie would using her blood to save the fetus? She is basically clone of Cameron, so she can even be surrogate mother to John and Cameron children. lol Do you find this valuable? |
