Be Not Afraid of Greatness

New story, new thread. I have a feeling that the events of this story will inspire a lot more discussion.

"Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness, and
some have greatness thrust upon 'em." -Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night'

Cameron's not gonna go THAT ginger...

And there's not going to be a terminator of the week in this story. There's really not necessarily going to be any hardcore bad stuff until we get closer to the end. I'm not saying it's going to be ALL fluff lol. But this is a very John/Cameron centered story. Notice I didn't necessarily say "Jameron". I suppose everyone will just have to wait to find out.

With them taking care of Savannah.....it would be more like John and Cameron become domesticated.
So what you are saying is.....J and C get to have some quiet time to grow as a couple?
Instead of constantly having to face danger, they now get to try out a normalish life together...with Savannah.
Life will become food fights, ghost hunting, chess, learning how to strip down weapons while blindfolded, and so on...

lol yes pretty much. Cameron will be focusing a lot on making sure John is as ready as can be when the time comes.

Wait till he finds out he has to get a job to support his family.

How funny would it be to watch John try to work at McDonalds? Christ I could write an entire story "the jobs of John Connor"

I liked chapter one. In season two of TSCC I sometimes thought that there wasn't enough development of John into the leader he was supposed to become. BNAOG promises to give us some of that development, and to also further develop the John-Cameron relationship--what's not to like? Do you find this valuable?

Nah, that's too little and you can't even do that thanks to at least 3 marks requirements in every post. So, m's way is better.

Good chapter. :)

:P But more seriously, I can't say much else that I did like the chapter. It was good to get Savannah back with John/Cameron. And it was fun to read how much Cameron had already thought about the whole thing, while John was pretty much agape. Then marriage talk was interesting. Also it always good to read that even though Cameron is advanced model, she is still learning and she makes mistakes like scaring Savannah with the fact that house was double murder suicide house. Things like this makes the story more believable, because Cameron is constantly learning and things like these shows that.

But then the bad things................. there is only one chapter. Want more.

I think Cameron should open up a daycare....now that would make a funny one shot.
But I still think a chapter on all three investigating weird happenings in the house would be fun. ( kinda like a Halloween chapter)

I'm in the camp of being a firm believer in ghosts/spirits/hauntings whatever. I've gone on ghost hunts, and anyone who has ever been in my grammy's old house will swear on her grave that the sliding door closets in her room would open and shut constantly on their own, the attic door would shake, and footsteps would always be heard upstairs from downstairs in the game room. I'm going to take my own experiences and add them to this story for a little bit of fun, but I also understand there are people who think we imagine these things and swear left and right ghosts don't exist. So... I will never come out and say the house is haunted. They will only experience weird things and people can take from it what they will.

Cameron will be most interesting with it. Animals can sense and sometimes see or hear what we can't. So can she. We're going to boggle her cyborg mind.

Now that sounds really cool ES !!
I've had my share of spooky stuff.....and no way was I under the influence of anything.
Cameron having like a 6th sense huh....interesting....kinda like that meter the boys use in Supernatural.....just don't do a "Ghost Facers " type episode/chapter.....lol.
