So these are the hard numbers that back up the chart found on Home Media Magazine. You'll have to check the archives of the magazine to see the chart now, suffice to say that instead of hard numbers Videoscan was reported as an index, i.e. as a percentage of the top seller (so TSCC's numbers were reported as 9.47% instead of 91,000 on that chart). It's good to actually see the hard data here. The data reported in that list is the combined DVD and BluRay sales for TSCC that week. It's thus about 60,600 DVD units and 30,400 BluRay units. When I made my "DVD Sales Chart" of TSCC sales vs. other shows, I had to "guess" Nielsen's numbers from the percentage and I used the data published by The-numbers.com to make this educated guess. I had no other choice for an estimate, really, and I had to do the same with Rentrak numbers. This data shows I was underestimating sales. Not by that much, but still off. I'd estimated 80,000 units total (53,600 DVD and 27,400 BluRay). Instead the total is 91,000, so I was off by about 12%. This has a domino effect, as it also means larger sales down the line. It's a small change from the overall figures but I've updated the chart accordingly. Instead of the average for the first week being 115,000, it's now 116.5K, and the total sales after 4 weeks should be about 315K instead of 308K. Year end sales? 450K instead of 440K. It's about $400,000K more in USA revenue when all is said and done, so it's not chump change and that's why I'm noting it. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Even if the DVD sales were twice the figures shown, the cast has moved on and they can't just drop their projects for it. It'd be damn hard to get them all available and together to shoot it, and there'd still be the issue of how much WB get from it and what cut the new owners of the Terminator franchise get. All in all, I'd say there's a snowball's chance in hell. Ah well, there's always my fanfic (shameless plug! hehe) Post reply Do you find this valuable?

Exactly the problem right now. But this was also the case with Firefly and Star Trek. What's really doing it is the different shooting schedules. Because Headey is making Game of Thrones, she's only available when the other actors are filming series/pilots for broadcast and basic cable channels. Now, you could write a story such that Headey's scenes would not need to be filmed at the same time as the rest of the cast, but that costs more time and money as a result.
